We're an artisan-based design and production studio in Oakland, California, and take "pride" in creating fun and unique artwear accessories that tell the world you're proud of who you are! Since the first Spectrachrome Classic was created in 1993, our festive and jubilant creations have started conversations, attracted knowing glances, accessorized special occasions, been given as gifts, and by their designs alone, have beckoned many a pride festival or street fair browser to take their favorite creation home and wear it often.

Our designs are made "to order" to insure you receive a beautiful, quality creation that is handcrafted with care and the best components available. We describe our products in detail so you can be sure that you receive exactly what you are offered, and make every effort to insure that once your order comes in, your piece is given our attention and shipped to you as soon as it is finished.

Since our designs were first unveiled and sold in Palm Springs during the 1994 Dinah Shore Weekend, many items have come and gone in our stable of designs... over 200! Many have endured the test of time and have continued to remain favorites over the years. This online catalog features many of our original design pieces in their original form, and we have added to those some new and whimsical designs that have emerged over the past few years. This website is the fruition of our wish to bring our products directly to YOU without the markup costs of a middle distribution system. We enjoyed the pride festivals and street fairs over the years, but now it's time to bring our designs to you for your 24-hours-a-day shopping pleasure, without having to wait for a festival to happen or a store to open.
